Shadi ke Side Effects (2014)

Shadi ke Side Effects, this hindi movie was released last Friday. When I saw the trailer, I thought this is a comedy. Actually it was a good movie and it relates to most of the couples in this world. I liked the story and theme of the movie. Direction was very good. Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan are very good actors and they did their best in the movie. I liked the way how they acted beautifully in very small situations.

One of my favorite scenes was when Farhan met with a father of four kids who tells him his story and after that he agrees to have kids now. Actually this is true. If a woman decides to deliver the child very late, her health issues may happen. So, it's better to have kids early as possible.

It happens to every mother. When a woman gives birth to a kid, she is totally responsible for taking care of her kid. And she becomes so possessive about her kid that it looks like she doesn't care about anything else except her kids. But that is not reality. Being mother of two sons, I know how tired and exhausted we are. Yes, we are enjoying our kids, but we also want support from our husbands. As husbands want our company, we are seeking their support to handle kids for some time. But if husband is like Farhan, who leaves his daughter with a horseman and forgets about it. I am very very lucky that I have got a great husband who takes care of the kids and plays with them.

Overall movie was good, but I don't think the name of the movie matches to the story. The movie's name was Shadi ke Side Effects, but the story was about the changes in couple's lives after their daughter was born. After their marriage, they were very happy couple. When their daughter was born, their life was totally changed. So basically it was showing the side effects of having the kids.
